The new version of your menu works fine. But if I choose the german language file I can't see the text complete in the section Options/TrueCrypt Option.

Maybe you can add a function, that automatically rename the documents directories in the language the user prefer. And the name of the directories you can take from the language file.

The installer is intresting. Do you make it multilanguage?
The menu doesn't create any folders, so I don't want to have it going and renaming them. The buttons point to what ever folder you want them to so if you prefer a different language chances are you already have the folders named in another language.
Just change the option to point to the folder of your choice.
The installer is just a sfx(self extracting) WinRAR file, I don't make it multilingual.

Hope I am posting this in the right spot
I am running Smithtech portable menu version 1.0.0.53 - works great on xp (also using truecrypt)
Under vista (home premium), when I click on the options button the flyout menu flashes on for a split second and then disappears. happens under different themes, with and without the scroll bar on (I noticed the scroll bar drag button flashing blue and white very quickly after trying to click on the option button so I tried turning it off and no diff)
Seems like clicking on the option button is causing the menu to go into a refresh loop or something.
Also when I click on Help, the About window pops up but I can't close it. when I click OK it flashes and stays on the screen. the only way is to close down the whole menu with task manager.
By the way, thanks for such a nice system. I love it under XP. The only problem under windows xp is that I have some apps on truecrypt and the icons don't show up (I guess because the smithtech menu is loaded before the truecrypt volume is mounted)
One suggestion: is there anyway to get nested menus with custom 'groups', kinda like the windows start menu so you don't have to scroll so much if you have a lot of apps. Then I could create a "Utilities" group, "Graphics" group, "Games" group, etc.

I'll have to get a copy of Vista for testing to see what I can do with the menu.
I've been toying with the idea of "categories" just haven't figured out how to implement them.
Also I believe the new version of PAM is supposed to have them so they may not make it into my menu, especially since I will be working primarily on PAM.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the portable apps menu (1.1) works OK under vista, and the flyout menu on the option button works fine. It just bugs out on the smithtech menu.

Not sure if this is where I'm supposed to Post this. If not, please gently coach me.
Installed 1.0.0.56. Everything is working perfectly with one exception. If I open a busy M$ PowerPoint slide, my screen freaks out and begins blinking about 3x/sec continously. It's not the adapter, it's the slide itself. If I drag the bottom of the PP dialog box above the Top OffSet of the StartButton, it stops. If I drag it back down below the Startmenu....Seizure Time. If I close the Startmenu and just use the System Tray icon, it works fine.
Any advice?
For now turn off the start button, the start button must be "fighting" with powerpoint to be "on top" I will look into it.

As you noted, it’s definitely fighting with the Icon to stay on top. The blinking begins when you move the PP app around and get it to a point where the STPM Icon is no longer in front. For example, single click on the STPM desktop icon to display the app list but don’t select anything. With the app list still displayed, click the PP window. The STPM Icon appears behind the primary PP dialog box and if you move around inside PP a bit, the blinking kicks in. I was incorrect before; it’s more than just the slide blinking. The slide, desktop icons, and everything else blink on/off very rapidly. While in this condition, single clicking the STPM Icon in either location (desktop or sys tray) immediately halts the blinking.
I’ve tried to reproduce it by making another really busy PP slide with a zillion textboxes and can’t.
