What is the best method for adding shortcuts to the menu to access other apps on the drive?

Thanks

But that didn't answer my question, I am looking to add script files, .js .vbs or bat files. I appreciate the link though.

with a little bit of work

with a little bit of work you can add any executable to my Menu
rename the executable to a .exe
browse for it from the edit shortcuts menu
when the path fields populates(before you click add) change the exe to the proper extension
click add and save
rename the executable back to its original extension.

I will add support for browsing additional executable files in the next revision.
