flash drive life

flash drive life

I am not sure if this is the correct forum so if it is not please in form me

All flash drives a certain life expectancy the more you use them the more wear and tear.

My question is how much wear and tear does running portableapps cause to your flash drive?

It depends on some factors.

It depends on some factors. For one the size of the apps, How frequent you re-write data, and even the quality of the flash. But many manufacturers have a very long warrenty like 5 years. I even have some drives that have 10 (!) years warrenty.

Just make sure you back up your important files regulary Smile
