Hi, I would like to suggest a new feature for PNotes.

Today, when an alarm is programmed at 9:00, for example, and PNotes is started after 9:00, the alarm is lost. Could PNotes play an alarm even if it were late? This functionality may be limited to the current day.

I'm new here I thought I'd ask a couple of questions. Hopefully this is in the right forum.

Is it possible to install any kind of app you want on portable apps? I'm trying to install Safari but I can't get it to load. If it is possible to install any app, how to you get Safari to install? Thanks a lot!

I just updated my Infrarecorder Portable (Thanks Travis!) to the latest version and after I started it it was in English, although I had it in german before.

Anyone know why?

I'm using Win XPSP3 limited account.

Using current PortableApps WinSCP 4.1.7.

In main launching window, select "Preferences" and beside "Other general options:" click on "Preferences...". In the new window, select "Storage", and the setting in question is under the "Temporary directory" section. This setting is tied in with the "Drag & Drop" settings as well.

I do not have the Explorer plugin installed (especially since this is supposed to be a portable app), so I cannot use the "shell extension" for Drag & Drop features within WinSCP. Instead, I have to set it to use a temporary folder to enable Drag & Drop features.

The file association feature only works if Xenon is installed on C:.

My situation is, my Portable Apps are on F:, and I boot several C:'s, starting the same apps on F:. So, I can't start files by clicking on them in Xenon.

I can not get the latest version of Stellarium to launch. the previous versions worked, but this one brings up a small dos box that disappears before I can read the error. I have tried this with and with out using the menuing system. I can how ever run the app using the exe in the app\stellarium\sub folder. I have tried both a clean install and upgrade. any help would be appreciated.

i have a problem with my notepad++ portable application.
i installed it in a directory and i wanted to adjust my notepad++ default notepad application.
so i made some adjustments.
while doing this adjustments, when i changed Notepad++Portable.exe file's name to Notepad++.exe and double clicked on it i got an error which says 'Another instance of Notepad++ is already running. Please close other instances of Notepad++ before launching Notepad++ Portable.'
i controlled and there wasn't any other instances of Notepad++.

I'm trying to do something pretty simple - all I really want to do here is to set up a "petty cash in pocket" thing, where i can track what i do with cash. there are actually several "wallet accounts" here - my cash, wife's cash, grocery cash... and then "regular" account/categories. Trying to get started (I'm probably handicapped by having used quicken for many years) all I really wanted to do was set up regular accounts and begin with a balance forward in my pocket.
