Other Apps Support (Deprecated)

Yesterday i just downloaded Cornice from portableapps.com and it's working good.

Unfortunately i'm seeking for more basic editing feature like resizing and cropping image which is not available in current version.

I know GIMP can do more advance editing than Cornice but for me GIMP is a little bit too hard to get used to. Since i usually edit my picture in my home using Photoshop or ACDSee and i only need resize and crop feature when i'm surfing or working with email at my office.

So i think it would be great if Cornice has that basic editing feature.

I am trying to use Eraser Portable to remove an index.dat file on Vista at reboot. When windows restarts, I get an error saying that Eraser has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I have tried this several times and occasionally it seems that the contents of the file are removed but many times it appears that only some of the contents are removed and the file size stays the same.

Is this just a feature that isn't possible since the app is on the USB drive or is there something I am doing wrong?

I've downloaded Frets on Fire, and played it once.
The second time I got an error: I removed the app and installed it again, but the arror is still there. (Now I'm on an other computer, but I'm stil at school and all the computers are the same.)
When I start the app, it says " See the logfile "E:\PortableApps\FretsOnFirePortable\App\fretsonfire\FretsOnFire.exe.log" for details", I click "ok" and the program quits.
I've made a copy of the log-file:

I haven't used ConvertAll so it may be the "ultimate" converter, but 8 MB for what is essentially a calculator, come on.

Personally, I use Converber, it converts 3 times as many units as ConvertAll and is only 280 KB installed, you can also add your own conversions.

Freeware, but not OS, I can't recall the rules, so I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the URL, it's easy to find anyway.

I realise this is a false positive but thought I would let you know so it can be fixed up. ClamWin is reporting the Cafe MOD .exe as a virus.

Unfortunately I now have to reinstall CAFE but so small doesn't matter. Anyway like I said I thought I'd let you know so could fixed up before the rebranding and feature upadtes.

Hi just a quickie. Is it ok to save your passwords in aMSN without them being saved to the host PC, registry or that as with Pidgin?

On my machine Cornice cannot read up, display, or otherwise handle any JPG that has been output by Picasa 2. It throws up error msgs whenever it encounters one. JPGs straight from my camera it can display, as well as other graphic formats (BMP, GIF, etc.). Disappointing, as I was looking forward to a small footprint viewer.

(Sorry, but, I couldn't locate a Support listing for Cornice amongst the others.)
