I've been trying to find a portable android emulator for a while now and even though I've seen some attempts at it or even portable VM software, most of it is either too old or not that portable enough.
Is there any emulator that could be put on PortableApps that works and it's fairly recent?
sPortable

Downloaded to USB drive and attempted installation. About halfway through the install an error message came up stating that the version of Skype was not valid and would not be installed.
I closed the PAF installer, deleted it, downloaded a new copy. Same issue with the error message. sPortable (Skype Portable) will not install.
Are we allowed to request apps that are free and open source, but do not have Windows binaries precompiled by the developer? If so, your platform could provide an amazing public service by becoming the only source of Windows binaries for such programs.
I see new apps available now and then. If I were to take some time and create a portable installer for an application not currently in the catalog - what is the process for getting it added to the catalog? I presume there is some testing, validation, etc. that must be done along the way.
Thanks

Hi,
I hope I'm wrong.
For years I have installed portable applications in non system internal or external disks, ie: D:, E:, F: or whatever including USB memories. I have well structured directories that makes my life easy.
The question is: why is this program necessary? Unless there is another advantage I can't foresee of course, for instance installing a non-portable Windows program in an external portable driver.
Any comment will be appreciated.
Thanks.
The file is there (if I copy the path from the error message it is opened up) and the Launch section exists as well as its ProgramExecutable value. So I don't understand where the error comes from?!
Thanks.
This program has the Gen:Varian:Fugrafa.152169 virus Detected by Bitdefender.
This is my first intervention in the forum although I have been going to PortableApps for years: I think this is perhaps the best resource site for Windows. I admit I'm a portable apps geek.
My first question has to do with the forum. They are probably right under my nose but I am not able to find the forum search tool. I wouldn't want to ask questions that are already answered.
Could someone help me? Thanks in advance!
Ah. And a very happy new year!
