I am looking for an option so our Windows FireFox Group Policy in Windows Active Directory does NOT affect/influence our Portable App (the latest version) in Windows 8.1
At this time it realy does...

Does this exists? I am NOT looking for on option on the properties off the GPO in Windows Active Directory. I already discussed this with our GPO experts ( in Enterprise of 30000 workstaions)

I ran some test and determined that these folders get left after the program closes. I am a windows 7 user and would like to have this code implemented.

Each time I launch the updater, it says that the following apps are available :

• 7-Zip 19.00
• McAfee Stinger 12.1.0.3047
• Mozilla Firefox 65.0.1
• Notepad++ 7.6.3

When it finishes, the apps are still the old version. The updater seems to work on the surface: it's downloading, the progress bars are filling, etc. But no work is done in the end.

Is there a way to enable logs to see what happens behind the scene?

If I change the language in LanguageSetting, Freeciv is always started in English.
Instead if I follow the instructions on this page, launching Freeciv directly from the folder (without going through PortableApps), the game is started with the correct language.

The only difference is that on portable apps the file is called freeciv-gtk3.cmd and not freeciv-gtk2.cmd.

Resource Hacker v5.1.7 (installer) was released on 5-Aug-2018 by the developer
Current PortabelApps version is v5.1.6.
Are there any plans to create PAF of v5.1.7 ?

I have the newest Firefox ESR browser (to go on using some extensions not available for the normal Firefox) and consider to better use the normal Firefox now and to not to use the incompatible (for the normal Firefox) add ons anymore. Is there a reason to not to change the ESR Firefox with the normal one?

How could I import / get all of my data to a normal Firefox? Is it enough to just copy the profile folder from the ESR to the normal one or to copy the the normal Firefox over the ESR?

I wonder what is the status of new app releases in PortableApps? Based on the thread "Apps Ready For Official Release" it seems the last accepted app was about 8 years ago. Does it mean PortableApps no longer accept new applications?

I can't use launcher.ini because that is only for making a NEW portable app, not configuring an existing one. I've already tried creating a BAT file contains the environment variable setting command in one line like "set PATH=%PATH%;C:\MyPath", and then executes the portable app launcher in next line like "FirefoxPortable.exe". Unfortunately it seems that environment variables set in a BAT file, do not get passed from the portable app launcher to the actual app's EXE file (in this case firefox.exe).
