Portable ColorPicker Suggestions

Anyone know of a portable Color picker application that has the ability to:

  1. Create/save/load color palettes
  2. Pick an average color using a predetermined area/sampling of pixels (rather than picking the exact color of 1 pixel)
  3. Generate CSS for things like hyperlinks using a selected set of colors (this is not so important)

It must have all the typical features you'd expect from a color picker such as:

  • View a magnified area of the area you are picking a color from
  • Copy color codes such as HTML to the clipboard

Just thought I'd inform you all that BlueMSX, an MSX emulator that can run the original two Metal Gears (1987, 1990) and other MSX games, can run off of any USB. Simply copy paste it's program files into a file in your flash drive and you can run it anywhere!

A while back i planned on developing explorer++, well I'm a slacker and never got around to it, and have lost any mind I had on making portableapps

Well here it is, since portableapps is starting to take freeware, and I have permission from the Author, David, to portablize it, I'll put it up for grabs for anyone who wants it.

If you need/want his email to me with permissions and that fun stuff, nab on on gtalk or however else you might be able to get me or PM me on the IRC (i'm almost always on, if not in the room) my nick is alpha1beta

How well do our Apps handle Standby / Hibernate?

The subject says it all: How well do our Apps handle Standby / Hibernate?

I just responded to someone in the german forum. He woke up his PC from hibernate with Thunderbird Portable still running and it downloaded all his messages again (~1000) He killed Thunderbird, got several windows errors in the process and now his SD card is unreadable.

This made ma aware of the problem that I don't know what happens in hibernate with our Apps. What if the app is woken up before the launcher starts? Has anyone ever considered this problem when coding a launcher?
