I had purchased companion & carbide on october 18th, 2015, but i had never received theses usb drives, i had 2 months later at christmas uploaded an e-mail to customusb because of this inconvenience, and the response/answer is "unfortunally, your payment didn't go through",

Hi guys,
Sorry to write only when there is a problem.
My USB stick that I use portable apps on to crazy so I formatted and did a fresh install.
The last one lasted 6 years over 3 usb sticks I use everyday as my primary everything.

I got all my browsers and other things to work fine except for seamonkey.
I removed the folder and reinstalled.
Now the seamonkey logo comes up but never the seamonkey.

Any ideas on what to do?

The latest Maxthon ( 4.9.1.1000 ) was released a few days ago. Does anyone know when it will be available on Portableapps?

I have separately downloaded google chrome using the link given on this site.

When I go to install that through app interface - Add new app, and even browse to the downloaded package, it doesn't install,
it tries downloading the entire package again.
and when I abort download, it hangs, the installers gets stuck there and doesn't complete or close.
I have to close it manually.

Couldn't find any way to proceed.

please suggest what to do.

In your user account details, timing is shown wrongly.

Asia/ Dili is not +9:00, it should be +5:30.

And it is not really Dili, it should be "New Delhi"

This is the first time I have seen such a silly mistake in any site in my 20 years of internet life.

I downloaded and installed and used it today for the first time.

And I find it having a very non-intuitive IME which created difficutlies

After browsing through all apps available, I ticked some 20 that I wanted and let it download.

After it had downloaded some 5 apps, and was downloading Chrome, at 80% completion, my net got disconnected.

When I restarted net, it didn't resume downloading of the same 80% downloaded app.
it was downloading the next app, freefilesync, which got half downloded, and again net got disconnected.

After a glitch, my portable apps launcher no longer works.
1. I have a portable apps launcher that opens fine but contains no portable apps icons listed in the space where they normally would go. In other words it gives me the grey box with the icons for "Documents .....to help" on the right side, and, on the left half of the box, a search box at the top and "all apps" at the bottom, but no app icons in the white box in between.
2. I have a portable apps folder with around 70 portable apps that work fine standalone,

I've been setting file types to portable applications from the platform, like setting all video types to Media Player Classic and this works well. I only had to select a video, click "open with" then choose MPC from the custom program button and set as default.

After that, I could easily go in the Windows settings and select MPC for every video type without having to set every single video file extension to MPC.

Hello everybody,

someone know if it is possible to include .doc, docx, pdf,... in the Menu from PortalbeApp.???
I would include most important files in the Menu.

The automatic update, which has been available for some time now, might be a little better if there was an option to change the sequence in the process.

Now, all up[dates are downloaded before any updates are applied. If, for some reason, the process is interrupted, the whole process must be restarted.

If the process were to download and update each item before continuing to the next item, this would save the rerun from beginning problem.
