IMHO this rivals all the others such as Realplayer, Mediaplayer and the likes

I am sorry for my inactivity, here have a version bump (no notable changes to the installer or launcher other than it will install the latest Chrome versions as of this writing).

Toucan 3.0 Pre-Release 1 has now been uploaded, once there are no remaining issues in the pre-releases this will move to release. At this point the Lua API is stable and will not change in a backwards incompatible way.
