any advice on a good program? (I want one that does EVERYTHING not like windows, I want my program files, because they may have some data, and I like having a list of all the programs I had)
Thanks in advanced

(Note: This is reaaally off topic.)
I found where John's signature comes from. My sister checked out Bolt and we were all watching. Then Rhino the Hamster said something about how the impossible can be possible if you're awesome }:).
I'll watch it again tomorrow.
[Edit] Found it...

Rhino They need a hero to tell them that sometimes the impossible can become possible if you're awesome!

Help Wanted: CMS

For some reason, I once again need a good CMS and webhost.
I need something:

  • Fast
  • Easily themed
  • That has really good import/export features
  • Good addons
  • Simple

For the webhost, just free and ad-free (and fast).
I'd post it Server Fault, but I feel I'd get a better answer here :).

Suggestion: "Report post" function

Lately, there's been a fair amount of spam on the boards (no offense to the mods; they've done a great job cleaning it up); it would be really great (and probably easier on the mods) if there was a "Report post" button on each post. That would keep the mods from having to run all over the place finding & cleaning up spam, since they could see all the reported posts in one place and (presumably) delete them without having to chase all over the board.
If that's not practical/not wanted, feel free to delete this thread... I'm just trying to make a (hopefully) helpful suggestion.

It's been a while since I've been on the site. I've been busy with my IRC Server and my current project, ScrapIRC Python Services. I've been kind of away from this project. So.

What's up everyone? How've ya been doing? And, what is new? I'd be glad to hear from ya'll. Especially the developers that were supporting when I joined. (If they are still here.) So. Tell me everything. Smile

How To Run Google Chrome OS From A USB Drive [Windows]

Just a few days ago, Google announced the release of the Chrome OS source code. Within less than 24 hours, the web was littered with disk images for running the new OS on virtual machines such as VMWare and VirtualBox. I even managed to put together my own Google Chrome OS download in the form of a complete VirtualBox appliance. I’m pleased to announce that I’ve taken it a step further, and now you can easily try it on your own computer from a USB thumb drive.

Could Microsoft legally use Firefox as IE?

I was just using IE earlier, and I remembered how aggravating it is. Surely Microsoft are not stupid, they must know people who know better do not like their browser.

Are they even making money on it? I know they have a cushy relationship with the advertising industry (to not allow ad blocking in IE, for one) but are there direct profits from people using Internet Explorer over Firefox or other alternatives?
