I am trying to use user-defined manifest files with a couple of Portable Apps, but I don't get them to work.
I am getting a lot of " Whoops, we can't find that page. " Errors on Sourceforge when I try and download the apps.
On https://portableapps.com/apps/development/swi-prolog_portable, it is stated:
System Requirements: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10
License: Free / Open Source (SWI-Prolog: GPL/LGPL, Launcher: GPL)
Since some versions, the oldest Windows release supported is AFAIK, Windows 7. Since 7.4.x, the license was changed to BSD 2-clause. You can checkout http://www.swi-prolog.org to verify these claims.
As in subject, I'm not able to launch any .paf.exe type file.
I think the problem is that I use a modded selfmade lite version of 2008 R1 sp2..... anyway, inspecting the paf.exe the dll imports are:
kernel32
user32
gdi32
shell32
advapi32
comctl32
ole32
In the system these files are presents, also..... the file seems to be a selfextracting 7zip because I can extract any paf.exe with 7zip but is quite annoying.
Can someone help me to find a solution for this problem? Thank you all in advantage.

Live support chat in the browser is now working again in the support section. It was failing after SSL was enforced by default sitewide as it was using an older link to the http version of freenode's web client. Live chat is now using the https version of freenode's web client and will come up by default even with adblocking enabled.
Needs some help if possible.
Done some searching and found the obvious:
https://portableapps.com/support/platform#addingotherapps
However my problem is the portal program I am using uses the structure:
..\Myapp\bin\myapp.exe
..\Myapp\AppData
..\Myapp\Core
(etc)
So the problem is while the 'reshresh' app, seems to pick up if you do:
..\Myapp\Myapp.exe
My program expects to be in ..\Myapp\bin\Myapp.exe
How do i run Multiple Portable Firefox At once?
Hi,
we always use snapcraft.io project on ubuntu. It is very similar to portableapps.com project. I had read that they will develop their platform to work on Mac and Windows. Can anybody explain what the main differences is portableapps.com project and snaps?
- main similarities:
-- they include the libs of spesific app inside it's own dirrectory
-- they dont touch other directories on system
- main diff:
-- they dont use "user-home" inside app directory
Thank you
