¿Is there any way to mount this virtual read-only CD drive (from U3 smart drives) in a regular usb stick? because I've scanned the whole Internet (xD) and i couldn't find the answer, soooo.... Here I'm!

Help much appreciated!!! Thank you!

I know that writing to it produces wear, and there is a limit on how much you can write to it until it becomes unusable.

does Reading from it also produces wear ? if I read hundreds of MB off my USB daily causes wear ? and if so is it the same amount as with Writing ?

From one of the discussion I saw that UltiDev Cassini Web Server supports ASP.NET application hosting, but does not speak whether it works on PortableApps. If it works on PortableApps how to install it on the pendrive and make it host ASP.NET application. Thanks in advance.

I recently added Juice to my PA flash drive but Juice doesn't retain things like the list of subscribed podcasts that I have.

I'm not sure what's causing this but it is annoying and I was curious if adding it as a non-PA program, as opposed to one that has been put into PA format, is what the issue is.

I am unable to install portableapps onto my sony walkman device, when i have saved t he file onto my computer i install and looks trough the directory folder but i am unable to find my walkman on the list.
I HAVE plugged the walkman into my computer so it should be detected on the list.

What should i do to make it work?

I suspect my flash drive might be on its way out, was wondering what others thought...

This past weekend, my CPU died. A good friend of ours who works with my wife was cool enough to go on eBay and order me another CPU (can't afford a new computer now) plus loan me a Dell he had just collecting dust. Said it had some strange things wrong with it but should be fine.

I'm talking about it being able to go across platforms, rather Linux, Windows, or Mac.

I know it has to be 100% self reliant, or to pull from the resources that is common in all.

Java requires the Java libraries to be installed, which is true for almost all languages. You could probably try for something like java script to increase the likely hood the libraries are already there, but this is still not guaranteed.

Seems like a discussion that would be fun to explore, and it's a good place.

Or can i download full Java runtime engine( not portable) if i can what's the Download URL ( Site).
