I just made a notion portable in portableapps.com format. Is it okay? Is it safe to distribute outside or inside here or others? Is that any virus on that? Any suggestions? Thanks

Hallo everybody I am new just registered few minutes ago. Hope this is the right place to ask for this little issue.

A while ago I had installed into PortableApps platform a perfectly working Firefox Developer Edition 32bit i used a lot, but today the update was triggered and PortableApps replaced the woking 32 bi version with a not korking 64bit that doesn't work anymore on win7 32bit.

Where can I find the last 32bit version of the Firefox developer edition paf.exe file to get back che 32bit version of this great software?

How to get an offline zip of Chrome Portable (not the intaller)?

Hi all. I've implemented - hopefully correctly - a privacy consent prompt for the GDPR in AdSense. I *think* it only shows up for EU users based on IP geographic location but am unsure. Could users please report back if they see it and if they're in an EU location to let me know if it's working properly? Thanks!

Hallo. I am looking for software to generate local (offline) and online tests. I want the user to be presented with multiple possible answers. The software does not need to be portable. The software may run on Linux or Windows.

Does anyone know why portable web applications fail to resolve the web at all when Windows firewall is set to default block policy, despite app allows in firewall rules?

Having given web apps like Firefox wide allows in firewall, setting default policy to block instantly fails them.
I have also tried forcing Firefox to use local wireless network DNS with continued failure. Windows native applications do not fail in this way, and I cannot understand why.

I was using both the NISI and the PortableApps Installer app to make some portables for some apps I use. Once the category section came I wrote “Development” not in quotes and then the PortableApps Installer quit on me. I can’t get any further. I presume it’s a bug? If I’m doing something wrong let me know otherwise.

I can't get the latest version of CCleaner to download/update. It gives an error message. It says the download is incomplete or corrupt... Any idea what's wrong?

I have a couple issues.

First, in general, how do I determine which executable to use?

In particular, an example would be KeePassProPortable. On my N:\partition, should it be

"N:\PortableApps.com Platform\PortableApps\KeePassProPortable\KeePassProPortable.exe

or

N:\PortableApps.com Platform\PortableApps\KeePassProPortable\App\KeePassPro\KeePass.exe

I am switching from my old 32-bit PC to a new 64-bit PC. I am using PortableApps on a USB stick. What do I have to pay attention to so that the existing programmes run on 64-bit?
I have read: Firefox Portable is a dual-mode 32-bit and 64-bit app, ensuring Firefox runs as fast as possible on every PC. Is it true that Firefox starts in the 64-bit version when I use my USB stick on my new 64-bit PC? Are most programs in dual-mode and then start in 64-bit mode?
