I am an amateur user of Fastmail (pc web version ) and Thunderbird Portable (on memory stick). I use the latter to export e-mail from two fastmail accounts using 'ImportExportTools NG'.

I am unable to log in on Thunderbird Portable for one user (lost or forgotten password). I have changed the password for this user in Fastmail ('Users/Aliases', 'Edit', 'Change Password'). However, this new password fails when used in Thunderbird Portable.

I am a long-time user of firefox. I am currently running firefox 103.0.1 (64 bit).

Seeking to migrate to the portable apps version of firefix, I am not sure where I should place the userChrome.css data file that I have tweaked to customize a couple of firefix settings (menu bar and button bar heights, tab shading, etc.).

Can you advise me where I should locate that file?

When visiting the https://portableapps.com/news site while NOT being logged in, the navigation buttons seem to sometimes contain spam links.

When I download an app for example AIMP, it says this download has been blocked because it considered unsafe according to Microsoft SmartScreen. Is this a false positive?

Today Chrome is flagging all downloads from this site as malicious and not even giving me a option to keep it, just dismiss it.

Tested with Firefox and it also flags the downloads as containing malware, but at least it gives me the option to allow the download.

Is there a way to contact Chrome and let them know they are detecting a false positive?
