Launching Weasis via jPortable Launcher

Submitted by AbsolutelyRandom on October 27, 2021 - 3:24am

I've been trying to launch the portable version of Weasis Medical Viewer (https://sourceforge.net/projects/dcm4che/files/Weasis/3.7.1/) via jPortable Launcher. I have both jdkPortable and OpenJDK JRE Portable installed. When selecting the .jar file via the launcher nothing happens. Any idea if it is possible to launcher the program this way?

Applications a little discontinued

Submitted by pguillen on October 25, 2021 - 4:09pm

Hello,

I would like to participate in this community, I hope not to bother with the following query.

Because it remains on the list of available software, very old applications and even no longer supported?, for example: "CubicExplorer" was a good alternative, but it no longer has support and has not had new versions for many years.

IMHO, it might be a good idea to add the version and the latest update to the list of available applications.

Thank you very much in advance
Pablo.

Portable Apps & RaiDrive - Not Enough space to upgrade apps

Submitted by stilgar on September 13, 2021 - 1:06pm

Hi,

I have a NAS running linux and i normally use RaiDrive in order to map its scp to a new Disk Drive in Windows. Everything works fine, i can use any app, even when this apps, needs to write something in the mapped drive. The problem is when i try to update apps, seems something say that there is no enough space to update.

Any workarround? any fix?

Regards,

Dave

How to reinstall PortableApps after new Windows install?

Submitted by chumbo on September 8, 2021 - 2:00am

I have tons of portable apps and just finished reinstalling WIndows 10. I backed up my PortableApps folder and now my question is....how do I 'reinstall' it back on my new WIndows installation?
I mean, how to recreate all the file associations, right-click menus, etc...that existed previously?
Is there a simple one-click (or almost) way of doing this?
Thanks,
