Hi folks,

I have multiple copies of several apps, each with different folders/configs, e.g.
C:PortableApps/Firefox v1
C:PortableApps/Firefox v2

I do want to keep these as entirely separate apps rather than just adding a new profile into, say, the Firefox v1 folder.

To date, I have been updating these manually as from what I could see, the PortableApps.com Platform only updates a single instance of each app.

Am I missing something? Is it possible to update multiple instances of the same app? If so, how?

I recently get a lot of Norton deletions on PAF executables with "Suspicious.Cloud.9" as reason. Looks like the new installer results in detection as malicious

I am not yet 100% certain but when I get too many hits on the installer files it most likely is related.

For instance Focus Writer, Puzzle collection, NeverBall, TaskCoach

Just out of curiosity, is there a way to view the download stats for our freeware releases?

Our open source download stats are readily available on Sourceforge, just wondering if there was something similar for our officially released freeware (obviously we can't show stats when the app is hosted by the developer, eg. LibreOffice and TeamViewer, I just mean our self-hosted freeware like BabelMap).

I love PortableApps.

The only thing that I dearly miss is the option to --search-- for new apps.

I mean that when I want a new app I go to Apps -> Get More Apps

Which brings up a new nice window.

That window is not searchable!

A search function there would upgrade the usability so much.

How can I check if an application is portable or not?

I have a friend who owns a restaurant and he offers an astounding number of sushi and sashimi dishes. It's often difficult, with so many offerings, for a server to know the ingredients of each offering and it's also difficult for the customer when he or she wants to look at and determine which offering to choose.

As mentioned here, I have on occasion seen the site load with no font displayed.

This issue has only been observed since the infrastructure upgrade, and I have seen it 6 or 7 times now on two different computers, both running Chrome 35 (non-portable) on Windows 7 x64.

I changed some settings around in an app and I wanted to revert back to its stock state, I couldn't find any features within the app to let me do so. So I figured a simple uninstall then re-install should handle that, but to my surprise the settings were the same, as if once it was uninstalled the older settings are retained somewhere? Any clue on how to get an app that was once installed to its factory state with no modifications. App in question is TAudioConverter.
