Forum users may have noticed recently a couple instances of acrimonious interactions in topics.

The Moderators would like to take a moment to apologize to all involved for these interactions.

Outdated Official Portable Applications

Submitted by scriptdaemon on July 11, 2012 - 12:00am

Welcome to the outdated apps tracker. Please post a comment for any outdated official apps that aren't already listed. Before posting a request, please make sure that their stable Windows build is available and they have been announced by their publisher (just being available on a download/ftp server or 3rd party site doesn't count as the app may not yet be official). Comments will be deleted as they are added. Bug reports or requests for updates of unofficial apps released as development tests should be made as comments in the post for those apps.

Is maintenance actually occurring at this time? Original download of a different app (Notepad2-mod) seems to have worked well.

(And is this the appropriate forum category in which to ask this question?)

Did the process of making apps portable ever created bugs that were not present in the original, source app?

I have, or I've had a few suspects, but I need to investigate them more. What are you experiences through the history of
