Chandler (Open-Source Calendar)

"Chandler is an interpersonal information manager that adapts to your changing needs."

Considering the lack of "good" portable calendar applications out there that syncronize with external calendar solutions like Google or Outlook, I think the implmentation of a Portable Chandler would be a good way to go.

The calendar system situation right now is at an odd place because there are just so many different solutions you could use and they all don't really syncronize nicely between one another. Google and Apple have made huge progress with the iCal standard, but those are the only two that really come to mind. Since Chandler is an open-source, cross-platform, solution, it should, in time, harness all different solutions around (including syncronizing with different iCal accounts).

From their Website: (www.scatterchat.com)

ScatterChat is a HACKTIVIST WEAPON designed to allow non-technical human rights activists and political dissidents to communicate securely and anonymously while operating in hostile territory. It is also useful in corporate settings, or in other situations where privacy is desired.

It is a secure instant messaging client (based upon the Gaim software) that provides end-to-end encryption, integrated onion-routing with Tor, secure file transfers, and easy-to-read documentation.

Its security features include resiliency against partial compromise through perfect forward secrecy, immunity from replay attacks, and limited resistance to traffic analysis... all reinforced through a pro-actively secure design.

portable dynamic dns

With the XAMPP lite webserver suite being portable its possible to take your website with you where ever you go.

The only problem is you need a dynamic IP service and client like no-ip or dydns to point to the server, since it will be moved from computer to computer. It would be extremely handy if you could have an ap like this running from your portable device. Smile
