Would love to see a "Trek" like space game that was portable. There where many dos/windows freewares that could be a start.
I think it would be nice to have a download all link under each category.
Or maybe a check box next to each app and a button the says 'Download Selected'.
This way if I would like to try re-downloading all the games, for example, to make sure I've got all the new ones and updates for older ones, I can simply check the box for all of them and click 'Download Selected'.
A quick search shows that this has been requested before, but not for a while. Please consider adding Quantum GIS to the stable - QGIS is open source (GNU Public License) and runs great off a thumbdrive. Well it used to at any rate. Recent versions are not so happy (and probably older versions were never properly portable).
Release notes for the current version (1.6) explain how it can be made portable (see http://www.qgis.org/en/about-qgis/qgis-releases.html):

I have been looking for a simple timeline making program, which is a very useful thing to have, in my opinion.
I have found the open-source program 'Timeline' on SourceForge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/thetimelineproj/
This is different from GanntProject, as it it suitable for making historical timelines. Try it out - it's pleasant to use.
The installer makes some keys in HKLM/SOFTWARE
and also some entries for MS IntelliPoint under HKCU
, as well as a file in %APPDATA%
.
