Hello!
I found out a very interesting thing:
After installing some of the following freeware applications on my Windows XP computer I - just for fun - tried to copy them from the program folder to the PortableApps folder on my 8 GB USB stick:
Artweaver - www.artweaver.de
blender - www.blender.org
CeltX - www.celtx.com
Inkscape - www.inkscape.org
Scribus - www.scribus.net
SketchUp - http://sketchup.google.com
This is one of the best rss readers i have ever seen; BlogBridge. I would love to have this as an portable app! It is open source, written in Java. I have no idea how i could make it portable, but if anyone could do this, or give me some pointers on how to do this easely, i would be thrilled!
find it on: http://www.blogbridge.com/

Hello. I'd really like it to see ccleaner as a portable application. I use it very often and I believe it can be very usefull to many users.

Okay, before you start this isn't open source, yes I know. But this is pure magic. A must see to believe...
KKrieger is a small 3D first person shooter. "The entire game uses only 97,280 bytes of disk space. Much of this small size is attributable to the game's use of procedurally generated content."

Maybe not a real request, but a request to see how much they crammed into that 97KB, and that includes 3D graphics, music and sound effects.

DoISO is a simple GPL'd, free ISO creation frontend for mkisofs, the ultimate ISO creating utility. To make a DVD-sized ISO whereas other ISO utilities would only go to CD size 700 mb. Has anyone here tried this out?
Edit: Never mind- requires Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0
