You can run blender right now straight out of a .zip, but it would be nice if you guys packaged it so it would match the rest of your stuff. Also, if someone could tell me how to get the N64 emulator "Project64" to work that would be great. I can get it to run portably on any system that has had it installed on its hard drive at sometime in the past. Some .dll or something is neccasary. Ho hum. Great site, and I really appreciate what you guys do.
Hello,
Would recommend FastStone Capture and Image Viewer as Portable Apps.
You can find it at http://faststone.org/ and in the download section you will find the portable versions.
Best regards
Soren
Very nice freeware text editor
Still in early stage (although already quite functional), a killer app that would be great to have portable.

Hey:
I'm looking for a firewall program that actually works while I'm surfing on other peoples computers. I come across a lot of unsecured rigs that are full of viruses and people hacking them all the time. The firewall that comes with windows is okay but a determined hacker will just march right through it. I'd like to have a way to atleast protect myself from outside attacks while I'm on there. Maybe you could even give an option to leave a copy on the computer I am currently using.

Well, I've been spoiled by the U3 drives, but the bloated autoplay was driving me nuts. Now I'm using pstart, on a generic flash drive - much happier, and on the drive it is way easier to install your own progs on. One of the features that I miss the most though, is that in the U3 menu, it had an option to eject the disk, what it would do, is close all apps that you had opened from U3 and then eject the disk, I've yet to find that, and I think that it would be a welcome addition by a lot of people. Also, the feature to eject the disk isn't nessicary, but its annoying to, when you want to eject
Two applications that would make my life much easier would be:
Amaya - the W3C's XHTML brower/editor.
Link at http://www.w3.org/Amaya/
NoteTab Light - a very nice text editor that works great for HTML and CSS files. Link at http://www.notetab.com/ntl.php
Both are freeware and very useful.
Thanks
I found this browser on the net a couple days ago... and I was wondering if it was possible to tweak it so you could use it portably...
The browser is called "Avant Browser"... it is nice... so is it possible?
You can get it here... "http://www.avantbrowser.com"
