I would like to request that Spek be added to the roster. It is a spectral analyzer tool for audio files. It is free and open source.

Not sure if it falls in the "Just Works" category... it has a preferences file in C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\spek

I'm a big fan of MusicBee, and I feel like its something that could fit right at home on this site. I'm not 100% if it works on cloud drives, but I've been running it on a USB just fine. Hopefully it can get added someday.

It's also very expensive.

I know I have already Portable Linux but hey 1 step at a time, note i am not going for OSLauncher as that is no longer supported, i want to get qemu portable, get portable linux, with metal boot, then build my own frontend for QEMU. Ill upload a draft by Thursday, then Ill be away for a couple of weeks, holiday, then more QEMU!

I reported earlier(what this text is replacing), that it is on source forge, but can't find it, as of yet, but opened the ZIP from original website linked above, and checked the license, and it is a 2007 version of the GPL...

We will start the portability with version 1.4 as the first step - the other Foobar project was stopped in 2011.
The second step (or parallel project) will be create the portability for plugin MP3tag (https://www.mp3tag.de/en/fb2k.html) that will work with MP3Tag portable (https://portableapps.com/node/18890) - note is not necessary to make the portability for this one, you can to extract EXE to a USB driver, it works.

it's proven reliable for diagnosing issues and identifying villains through its capabilities of displaying advanced SMART logs. so yeah it would be nice.
