There's a bug in the updater: it uninstalls apps even if there is not a replacement.

TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
1. Wait until there are two or more updates to be downloaded.
2. Begin the update process.
3. Cancel each of the downloads.
At the end of the downloads, the updater will uninstall all apps to be updated, then will discover the update files are not present and display an error for each of them. (Sure would be nice if the updater had a log, the error display vanished rather quickly.)

In our company we have any installations blocked by different security agents. However, we can unzip things and run them. I want to use couple applications (e.g. Thunderbird) on the PC and was hoping that PortableApps would help. However, I realized that in order to even use the Portable Apps I first need to install it - which completely defeats the purpose of what I thought PortableApps is supposed to be. I tried to read through different documentations but everywhere I see that I first need to 'install it'.

There ist a topic from 2016 about this, but I still encouter this problem and have no solution yet:

I use FileZilla portable within a Veracrypt container / Drive.
I always close FileZilla after use.
The Veracrypt container ist automatically dismounted when I switch off the computer and Windows shuts down.

Always after I start the computer and mount the Veracrypt container again, FileZilla says "App did not close properly and must be cleaned up" - which is very very annoying.

Can you provide an option to choose to use the system’s default browser to open the platform’s link? Or choose what browser to use?
It seems to always use Maxthon (the only browser I installed on the platform). But I want to use Edge instead.

This is the error I've just received at launching PortableApps Platform.

A few months ago, I tried updating the PortableApps.com Platform, but for some reason I can't update it, ended up deleting everything and starting over, I still have it

I tried asking Reddit twice, I Googled it, and even asked my dad, nothing worked and I still have this issue

Manually updating and installing still works, but I don't really want to do that

downloading a list of 35 Apps, it stopped in 28 out of 35. What now?

is there a different if I install the platform on a PC, USB or cloud expect the location (path)?
I installed the platform long time ago on a "USB Drive". Later I just copied the directory to a OneDrive folder.
Do I have to change any settings to have the best performance?

Product name for Libreoffice Base Portable has a slight bug, there are 2 spaces between "Libreoffice" and "Base", ie : "LibreOfficeBase"

I'm not pretty sure, or if I have still created the Folder "Database". Since I need it each and every day, I'd like to join through the Sidebar, where "Documents, Music" etc. pp. are still allocated.

How I can manage to expand the Sidebar, or do I need to replace another Shortcut like "Music"?
