Request Apps

I've seen similar programs out there but, none that quite meat this idea. I'm just starting to learn programming and I'm not in a class (yet) so I only know some of the basics. The idea is to create a small program in the computers RAM or Virtual RAM that would act like a registry. The program would be considered to be the registry by other programs thus allowing a fake registry. The program would, of course, have to save it's registry entries in a portable file for easy repeated use. It would use a hierarchy system so it could use the real registry with the fake one.

Iometer seems pretty good, it was made by Intel, so it must be fairly good...

There's loads of other HDD benchmark tools such as CrystalDiskMark and HD tune, but these are only freeware, and not open source, nor are they portable.

With HD Tune in mind I also came across some S.M.A.R.T. tools...

The Windows package says it contains a full MinGW environment.
Is it or can it be made Portable ?

Please add Iron it would be nice to have an webkit browser too. Iron is Chrome with out the glossy finish ie. tracking software.

I know there are other portable ftp servers out there, but I think wzdftpd is some good open source software and would love to see it as a portable app.

since Webocton - Scriptly is not part of your suite and searching did not yield any results, I would like to request Webocton - Scriptly as a portable app. It is freeware, and also already available as a portable program.
To my point of view it makes writing html, css and php data easier.

It will save what you can see in the window, the entire page, just a selection, a particular frame... basically it saves webpages as images, unlike lightscreen.

Not that lightscreen isn't great for what it is, this is just a bit more advanced for use within firefox.

Great for web developers.
