Skype would be a killer offering for portable apps.
Love being able to carry my apps around from location to location without having to lug around both a personal and business laptop. One thing missing is a softphone offering such as counterpath x-lite or other open source equivalents.
inkscape is one of the best opensource vectorial software, I would like to have a portable version... Thanks

I stumbled across this game on sourceforge.net and it seems like a simple and entertaining game.
the point of the game is to get 5 "ticks" in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
it's written in c++ and since it's hosted on sourceforge.net I'm assuming it's open source.
I am the author of UltraClipboard, and I have made a portable version, and I am wondering if you think it will be helpful at all in your "PortableApps.com" site.
It is not an opensource project, and only runs on windows, but on all versions.
If not, thats fine too.
I haven't published the portable version anywhere, but the regular versions can be found at: UltraClipboard.com.
Thanks!
Can IBM's Lotus Symphony be released portably, or is it not open source? If it can be released, I vote to have it made portably.
Thanks.

Does anyone here use Snag It from Tech Smith? It's an app I absolutely cannot live without. It would be nice if there were a Portable Apps version of this software. I use PA on my work laptop, which I am not allowed to install anything on (strict company policy) and PA works great for me in this environment!
Thanks for listening!
