Echolink Portable

Submitted by danielalberts on June 10, 2013 - 12:30pm

I am an Amateur Radio operator (ham) and I've been looking at using Echolink (found at www.echolink.org ). Is there any way that it can be made portable to use from a USB drive? I travel frequently and would like to be able to operate from wherever I am without bringing a radio everywhere I go.

Hi!

Because Komposer is off duty, I decided to find out other (new) alternatives for Dreamweaver. And I found some... I sorted them from "seems to be more like DW" to "[...] lesser"

WDL Website Builder
BlueFish
BlueGriffon

Hope you can and will make them portable. Also, please reply there when you have done with making portable one of them.

Komposer is at version 0.7.10 since you're still at version 1.0... :| You're pretty much too late...

Edit: It seems like Komposer is off duty... and there is the last version.

Because I wanted a free alternative for Dreamweaver, I found few other apps like this... I've just made a topic, here, and I hope someone will manage to make them full working portable...

Gnuaccounting

There's an old discussion of this app here, but at that time it was essentially for Linux:
https://portableapps.com/node/9016

Gnuaccounting is a Linux / Windows app, described as portable. It works with LibreOffice and with Open Office.

From their website at http://www.gnuaccounting.org/index.php?id=3

"Gnuaccounting is a Free Java cross-platform accounting and bookkeeping application.

We have reasons to call it "beta".

Gnuaccounting's most recent version is 0.8.2, released 2013-01-17"

It's under the GPL license.
