Shortcut for apps not in the portableapps directory.

I found an ejectscript and I want to use it, but to have it shown on the menu, I know it has to be in portableapps directory. But it won't work unless if it's in the root directory. I need a shortcut executable that would show up on the menu and then launch the ejectscript. I did search, none of the results were relevant.

Updates please

There are security/stability updates for several software packages available from PartableApps.com, including:

VLC Media Player 0.8.6d
WinSCP 4.0.5
Pidgin 2.3.1
OpenOffice.org 2.3.1

Could you please update these apps as a sort of Christmas gift for all users?

Many thanks in advance.

Keymap changer

Submitted by trigger on December 6, 2007 - 8:40am

This is not really a request to make an application portable, but a request for an entire application.
I use a pretty rare keymap (Swedish Dvorak(Not included in windows by default)), and would like the ability to change to this keymap wherever I go.
Previously I have tried some application named noadmin svorak, but that changed to svorak, which is not the keymap im using, I've also tried putting together a script with autohotkey, I got pretty far but not all the way, and also it's dependant on the keymap the computer allready uses.

view Japanese fonts and input Japanese on non-Japanese computers

Submitted by bdmp on December 5, 2007 - 4:37am

So I have many Japanese friends in Europe and when we use computers at shops many times they do not support Japanese so it is hard to communicate. So, I am looking for a way I can bring my own fonts and input method. There are a few programs that can do something like this but they are very expensive. I have been using most of my portable apps with Mojo pack, which lets you install programs directly into your usb key or whatnot. That way I can use a non portable app on a usb key. Does anyone have any ideas about how to do this?
