We could add TeraFLOPS of computing power to the BOINC platform developing a Coronavirus vaccine. But many people have trouble with installers. Let's release an updated standalone app for BOINC!
Seamonkey has recently released a new version. Can you produce a portable version of SM 2.53.1?
Its is bewildering that you sometimes produce complications by making programs portable which can already be run portable!
IF there IS a good reason for this (e.g. better handling of multi-user OS ? (which I could not honestly believe...) you should AT LEAST
mention the programs ability to be already run in portable mode
Two examples:
1."Telegram" can already be downloaded an run portable

It's free, open source, carries multiple accounts, is continually updated and looks like a good alternative to Thunderbird.
It's also is an offshoot of Sylpheed, which hasn't been updated here in two years.
The latest available Pencil Project app is ver 3.0.3, froom 2017. It's unfortunate that it hasn't been updated in the meantime. Now that ver. 3.1.0 is available, maybe someone would be kind to create a portable app version.

"Don't Sleep" is a program that prevents the PC from sleeping, and can add various conditions.
It is from the same developer as Q-Dir, which has already been added to the PortableApps Store.
It is developed as a Portable App and has the same license as Q-Dir.
It would be more convenient if you could install it from the PortableApps Store.
Sandboxie is now going open source.
Please consider making a portable version
It would be nice if someone makes QB64 PortableApps friendly.
It's already portable (7z or Zip).
Site says "QB64 is a modern extended BASIC programming language that retains QBasic/QuickBASIC 4.5 compatibility and compiles native binaries for Windows, Linux, and macOS."
