Password Gorilla
Encrypts password database using Blowfish. Single executable w/o installation. Looks like a prime candidate for portable app to me.

I think that a portable apps of daemon tools will rock!
Syplpheed is a lightweight GTK+ mail/newsgroup client. It runs on Unix-like systems such as Linux, BSD, and Mac OS X. It also supports Windows.
It has the required libs bundled and stores all info in Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Sylpheed under Windows. It has multilanguage support and can be migrated to from any mail client that uses mbox.
I like this client very much, I dropped Thunderbird for it, and since I travel a lot, I would like to request it to be a portable app.
Something like Notepad++

I've recently come to love DOSBox for running those old games, but I can't run them away from my home PC. How hard would it be to modify it to run w/o instalation onto a PC, but instead on a thumb drive?
thanks!
I don’t have to present to all of you truecrypt. It is a free, open source, portable, powerful, on-the-fly encryption. But I did not find it in the list of portable apps. I am just wondering why? The truecrypt project seems to me to exactly be the software this website is done for…
Something like HTTPort - http://www.htthost.com/httport.boa
It helps people to use instant messengers from under firewall.
I would like to request this media player called Songbird to view it go to songbirdnest.com I think. it is a new open-source software based on itunes
Yahoo Widgets or its original name, Konfabulator,
has spread rapidly.
Its "cross-platform bliss" make it almost perfect
as any sort of organizing tool.
Since it contains a lot of account-based information
it would really helpful if a compressed version could
be made.
Thx,
