Hornil StylePix

Hornil Style Pix comes very close to Photoshop in its possibilities. It's the little brother of Hornil StylePix Pro.

The Pro version is not free, but Hornil StylePix (without the "Pro") is.

I've no idea of the license type.

The website is:
http://hornil.com/en/products/stylepix/

It actually works without installation, but leaves various stuff behind in the registry (and maybe elsewhere).

TeamViewer QuickSupport

Program: TeamViewer QuickSupport
License: As TeamViewer Full Version
Website: http://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/windows.aspx
Description: Simple and small customer module, runs immediately without installation and does not require administrative rights - optimized for instant support

I would prefer the family and friends I support to run this rather than the full version - they have no need to establish connections and this version is simpler for them.

MeGUI

Program: MeGUI
License: GNU General Public License version 2.0 (GPLv2)
Description: audio/video encoding interface based on open source encoders.
Website: http://sourceforge.net/projects/megui/

There're many registry keys, though I don't know which is relevant:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\MeGUI.exe
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Applications\MeGUI.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\

Request Alternate to XAMPP

Can the devs work on an alternative to XAMPP environment?

I used XAMPP recently and they have stated that the mods to it are because people were complaining about being hacked, I pointed out that if people ate stupid enough to use a computer on the internet without a firewall then they deserve everything coming their way.

They insisted on keeping the nanny interface and mods, in reality, it now officially sucks.

So can someone develop a full blown environment that gives MySQL, SQLite, PHP, Web server and a few other bells and whistles in addition please.

AbleWord

Hello!

Could you make a portable version of AbleWord wordprocessor and PDF editor? I simply can't make it run on VirtualBox though I tried every version of the .crap framework with both 64bit and 32bit XP. There's no contact information on the homepage (http://www.ableword.net) so I could not contact them.
