Does any one know of a open source file recovery program? It would be very helpful to those of us who use portable apps to help fix peoples PC. I do this as a hobby so I dont have the money for those kinds of programs when a free and open source program will work just fine in a pince and since I work on peoples home pcs being able to install the software onto their pc if they like it is a plus as well.

There IS a portable version of LMMS on this site, but the current version is 0.4.4, and as of 3/12/12, the latest version is 0.4.13. If you guys could update it, I would be very greatful.

I'd like to see Python, Lua, or even some version of a BASIC interpretor packaged as a Portable App. Nothing real fancy..just for quick and dirty hacks of ideas. Heck, even javascript would probably be okay.
