Anyone trying to make a portable version of Artisteer?

PSPP is currently the most viable open source GNU alternative to SPSS which is almost essential for any social sciences researcher. The ability to carry it in a portable hard disk or usb drive would be a god-send.

You can easily burn an iso image, copy disc or save disc image to burn it later, to create an iso image from your files and more. JetBee is a great software application for burning CDs and DVDs.

Did portableapps.com add portable versions of Scribus and Inkscape? I have not found them here, portable versions exist on their webpages. I expect that portableapps.com could be a place not only to share with their versions of portable applications, but could be a great place to link other portable applications (without portableapps.com logo too).

Does anyone know of a solution for backing files up over sftp,scp, or ssh? The features I'm looking for are as follows:
-incremental, automated backup to an archive (.zip,.7z)
-ftp,sftp,scp support
-preferably portable.

Can someone make another proxy that works for firefox???
