Widelands

Submitted by Theinvestigator126 on January 20, 2018 - 11:32pm

Application:Widelands

Category: games, real-time strategy

License: open-source

Descripton: Widelands is an open source (GPLed) real-time strategy game. It is built upon the SDL and other open source libraries and is (and will always be) under heavy development. If you knew Settlers I & II™ (© Bluebyte), then you already have a rough idea what Widelands is all about because Widelands is heavily inspired by those two games.

Use this utility to block Windows updates and re-enable them when you desire.

[Solved] YUMI UEFI

Submitted by XJDHDR on January 19, 2018 - 12:48pm

I'll keep this short. PortableApps currently provides YUMI for BIOS as a portable app. YUMI UEFI is also available from the same place as the original YUMI. How possible would it be to also provide the UEFI version as a portable app?

Making the case for a true, stable Chromium browser in the PortableApps.com format

Submitted by trust on January 10, 2018 - 7:39am

If I'm not mistaken the argument for not making Chromium portable was that it only has unstable, nightly builds. Well, is that was the only case against making Chromium an official PortableApps release, I'm happy to report it is simply not a valid case.
