Driver Updater

Submitted by sicnessrusso95 on April 15, 2016 - 5:46am

I know there are already apps for updating drivers that are "portable" like the lite versions of SDI and DRP but it would be nice if either one of them or maybe a different program or maybe even various programs so there could be options that could be official PA.c apps.

D7

Submitted by freejunkstunoff on April 8, 2016 - 8:17am

Tried to search the forum but the search requires 3 characters.

Upon first launch, D7 accumulates everything you could possibly want to know about the system – processor type and speed, available memory, computer name, OS version and IP address. That’s just for starters. That means that the moment you launch the software, without issuing a single command, you have the info that you’d normally have to dig for by issuing commands like “ipconfig” or wmic commands to gather cpu and OS data. So, just launching D7, you’re a step ahead already.

Portable Cygwin

Submitted by newbie291 on April 1, 2016 - 5:02pm

For me, this seems to be an "old" topic with various discussions (e.g. https://portableapps.com/node/35692), but no recent updates. I also googled around about, and it there seem to be various trials available, which are all outdated.
Actually I have to use a very restricted PC (no local installation without IT dep. confirmation), so I want to use cygwin via an external device (and also only to download/install it only once for my three private laptops )
