Firefox Portable

Having a couple of issues with v53.02rev2 ...

1. Lastpass plugin now prompts for the MFA token value every time the browsers started. This is even if the tick box to remember for 30days is clicked. This was working in the previous release from here.

2. After a couple of hours of usage it just loses connectivity and refuses to connect to anything any more. It has the box ticked to use an automatically provided proxy (corporate environment other browsers working fine) but it seems to forget this after a couple of hours. Restart and it works again.

Hi all, I have Firefox Portable version 53.0.2 on my external harddrive which I use every working day. I have to switch between two computers each day. The odd thing is that one of my computers has just started giving me the 'Cannot read XPCOM' error. This machine has opened Firefox Portable everyday before without fail, and the update was a while ago. As far as I can see there is nothing different on my machine that would have stopped it from loading Firefox.

I have some serious issues with FF, TB and several other Apps over PortableApps!

I own three different PC (Windows 10 64bit as User/AntiVirGear-N10, Windows 7 64bit as AntiVirGaming/AntiVirGamingT7 and Windows 7 64bit as User/AntiVirGear-N7) and all my data and apps are on a 1TB HDD without any errors (weekly SMART check, file defragmentation and chkdsk) and here is the point: It happens randomly!

Let me show you some scenarios and define N10 as A, T7 as B and N7 as C!

53.0.x Black WebPage(s) of death.
After some minute(s), all webpages on all tabs, go completly black.
if i open a new tab, the webpage of that tab section, go also completly black.
To fix that, .. i have to quit Firefox Portable, and re-open Firefox.
P.S. only webpage(s) section go completly black.

upgraded 52.0.1 to 53, FF would not start. Won't stay resident. Tried the 53.0.2 rev. 2, same thing.

Are you making a portable version of the last Firefox ESR v45 on June 13, 2017?

i always use firefox portable for several years. and place it in F disk,
yesterday, i reinstall my windows system, and after i click the firefox portable icon in F disk. the bookmarks and addons are disappear, it is almost a new firefox, everything are disappear.
How can i restore them?
and i wonder should i restore them? because it is portable.

For some reason after installing FFP and adding No Script Security Suite and HTTPS Everywhere extensions, and then browsing with both extensions working fine, upon restarting Firefox the next browsing session, all my extensions were gone. A search in the installation folder turned up nothing recognisable. I installed both extensions again, and again, upon restarting Firefox, both were gone. The issue may not be peculiar to FFP.

For ESR (the primary but not the only version I run), the most recent one available as of yesterday (4/21/17) was 4580. Today, I see this has somehow jumped to 5210 (?), however I am still getting Mozilla messages to update ESR to v. 4590. So I'm a bit confused. Standard portable has just released v. 53.

Getting Firefox is already running. Running installed FF 52.0.2 (32 bit) and Portable 2.0.4.1 as downloaded. AllowMultipleInstances=true and moved to FirefoxPortable.exe dir. Would like to have new tabs opened instead of new window. Many reported problems are looking for multiple instances and not what I am looking for.
