How Can I Permanent Download Pictures Messages Messages so i can read them offline

I have successfully loaded Portable Thunderbird and Poratble Firefox. Thunderbird won't install the Poratable Calendar extension. I get the message "Can't install Calendar: invalid install program". I tried different links, and the only way I could get the calendar to install was in Portable Firefox. I'd rather have it in PTB. Any ideas?

First of all, since English is not my native language and I am French, I apologize in advance for all the mistakes in my sentences. That said, let's get back to business. I'm a great fan of John's work andI extensively use "PortableFirefox" and "PortableThunderbird" (PTB hereafter). Everything was going with PFB until 30 minutes ago when it crashed repeatedly. Why ? Well, let me explain. Yesterday, I had the following organization : three email accounts, lets call them A, B, and C. Both B and C were "local accounts", i.e they were linked with the "local folder", and A was superior level account in the sense that it was not linked with the "local folder" (I hope I am clear). Today, well in the morning, I deciced to make all the three accounts linked with the "local folder" so I would have only one folder in the left side panel, precisely called "local folder". I have to mention that I deal with a huge ammount of mails everyday, in terms of reception and storage (for instance, I have a subfolder containing more than 3000 mails). Then I went to the "preferences" page and selected the following action for all my three accounts : "check emails at startup". Then I closed it to eat and after coming back I launched it, and here is the message I got :

I have downloaded 1.0.7 and installed it onto a separate folders in my USB stick.

Now, how do I move my settings, email content, and signature to my 1.0.7 folder from my 1.0.6 folder?

I get an error message when I try to install the Quickquote extension in Portable Thunderbird. The error says it relates to the extension itself but I was wondering if anyone else has run into the same problem and if you found a way around it?

I have recently begun using the RSS capability in Thunderbird. I am using it to subscribe to verious cateories of Google news. The problem that I'm experiencing occurs when TB checks for new rss items. It finds many of the stories I already have, but instead of realizing that i ialready have them, TB creates new duplicate stories. As you can imagine, I am quickly piling up many, many copies of each story. I have changed my update rate from 2 minutes to 60, but this doesn't totally solve the problem. Isn't there a way to only have one copy of each story? I've used the rss capability of the Google sidebar before, and I never experienced this problem. (BTW, I would love to have a portable version of the Google sidebar!)

I was wondering when a official localized version of Thunderbird would be released ?
It seems to be working nasty with xpi exts but will there be a "real" multillingual version ?

I'm testing the TB 1.5 Release. It works fine. But if I go offline TB downloads all my new message. Thats OK.

Now I went to another Computer an my usb stick gets another drive letter. I start TB and all offline messages are gone. When I go to the first Computer, the same. All messages are gone. What can I do?
