It is not a replacement for a full antivirus, but handy in many situations. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. McAfee Stinger is freeware for business and personal use.

New Download Method For Direct Installs
This new release is trying out a new download method for direct installs that may alleviate [Bug] McAfee Stinger unable to download. This new download method only works for direct installs and WILL NOT ALLEVIATE THE BUG FOR PLATFORM UPDATER/APP STORE INSTALLS. The platform has not yet been updated to this new method.
If it is not installing for you via the platform, please download and install manually. If a manual install does not work for you, please report it in the bug with the full details.
