I would like to see a portable version of this app if there isnt allready one Program: instantbird License: GNU General Public License Description: Instantbird is a multi-protocol Instant Messaging client. Using it, you can connect to all your different IM accounts. It uses the Mozilla rendering engine to display IMs, and the Pidgin libpurple to connect to the different networks. Too Early
It's too early in its development cycle for it to be worthwhile. Plus, we've already got Pidgin and Miranda IM covering IM needs very nicely.

In addition to that, I would like to take this app. I've really gotten in to the whole instant messaging scene, and using libpurple with the Mozilla framework is a really neat idea. He plans to release another version increment last August, which will have an executable instead of a bat with parameters, so I'll start on it then as there's less change launcher wise.
