you are so right. However we don't want to get carried away with this whole censorship stuff. I mean, I went to some forum a few months back and they where talking about "C:\Documents and Settings" and it came out as "C:\Do(censored word)ents and Settings" or something like that.
P.S. If any mod or member thinks that someone can put 2 and 2 together to find the missing word and therefore it's a swear word, you may delete this post.

But same idea. I don't think that people really understand what this sight is about. Yes it is about portable apps, but it goes beyond that. This is not meant to be a "one stop shop" for all things portable! Yet day after day people keep requesting the same things over and over. I know a lot of illegally made "portable" apps are out there. To get them go HERE! /rant

Hi,
as it says in a couple of places further up the thread, any portablized version of Windows Live Messenger would be illegal and not be tolerated on this site.
There are, however, two perfectly good FREE portable programs that will allow you to log in to the MSN messenger service and chat to your friends. They are Pidgin Portable and Miranda IM Portable.

I have a beta of the last version around somewhere PAFed. Just been focusing on updating Pidgin and Miranda first.

About keeping test apps somewhere around
I did notice that in a few place on forum You tell that You have some apps already "converted" to paf, but not ready to be published on portableapps.com.
I was wondering if You keep them on-line and if user form forum could get them as alpha, beta, non-public releases just for a test purpose?
