jPortable Launcher 2.0 (run Java JARs portably) Released

logojPortable Launcher 2.0(formerly Java Portable Launcher) has been released. jPortable Launcher allows you to easily run Java JARs from your PortableApps.com-enabled device with the jPortable portable Java Runtime Environment installed. While it doesn't portablize their settings directly, it does work with any self-contained JAR that stores settings alongside itself or allows its settings to be saved to a portable location This release has an improved launcher and installer and handles paths passed with and without quotes from other applications. It's packaged as a portable app, so you can take your browsing experience with you and it's in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

It also tells you how many times the hard disk has been turned on and how many hours it's been on for.
