GoogleEarth Portable

Looks like it'll work.
But a few things:

• Where's the source?
• Where's the installer? (You had me install to the desktop :P).
• Everyone needs a new installation system for the freeware apps
• There's a thumbs.db under appinfo
• I'm not sure the homepage to Google Portable

This needs to be packaged in a proper installer that creates the directory to run it from, includes source code for launcher (or a link to it), a help file, etc.

Why isn't the location of Google Earth read in from the registry instead of the user being prompted for it's location? There are a ton of places to get this info, but one good one may be:

If getting the info from the registry isn't possible, how about looking in the default install location at a minimum?

I tested out both the Google Earth launcher, and the Google Talk app (should have tested them separately, but I tested all at once... my fault)

I noticed after testing that a there was a Seba folder in my Documents and Settings folder (XP SP2). The Seba folder contained an Application Data folder, with a Google folder inside of it. There were a couple files in these folders.

I deleted the Seba folder and re-ran both programs. The folder wasn't recreated, and both worked fine.

Just something to look at if this is going to be fully portable.

Sorry Pyro but this link is to a warez site. Also it is I believe a thinapped version of Google Earth. Meaning it is an Illegal distribution Lastly I have tried that site before and some downloads were flagged as containing viruses. More so than the usual false positives you get with thinapped apps. Be careful.

Mod please remove link to Warez site and if possible this post commenting on it.

This is a regshot for the PAF installed version. I ran the app which installed Google Earth on work pc, copied files over using the automated setup you have (And I like : ) )then ran the app on home pc which has never had Google Earth installed and this is the regshot result.

and I liked it. But I had to delete it after I was running out of space on my drive. There have been a ton of requests even after you released it. Now that PortableApps.com allows freeware, why don't you restart its development? I tried downloading it again and the link had broken.
