Im run MumblePortable.exe but it does nothing, just close. In processes flashes only launcher.
Just did a fresh install and it runs on Win 7 x64.
Deleted, installed and... nothing.
Windows 8.1 x64
No av program installed (instead build-in defender)
I need to know if it a PAL or Mumble issue. I would appreciate any tester for their feedback.
Been using this on and off. So far it works. Imported my Cert from my Main pc, and runs just fine. Dunno why others are having issues.
I can test. I tried running it on Windows 10 x64 and had the same issue of the splash showing and nothing happening. I tried adjusting some of the code, but was still unable to get it working. I would love to get together and see if we can't solve this.
I found the issue and fixed it/recompiled on github. I submitted a pull request.
EDIT: Thanks for merging it. It looks like some versions of Windows need to run mumble as Admin, which I swear I had originally tried and didn't work, but I tried it again and it did. Really strange issue especially since some people could run it just fine as it was.

I downloaded and used this app the other night, works great.
Only one problem every time I exit mumble it deletes my "Documents" folder. This folder is located in "c:\users\dazbo\Documents" on my windows 7x64.
I suspect its the line "MumbleAutomaticCertificateBackup.p12=%DOCUMENTS%\" from the "mumbleportable.ini" file
but I cant be sure as I have no time to test..

Yes, i have it and I allowed this application to perform uac

Yea.. no clue whats going on but.. I installed the update, tried to launch.. Nothing happens. I look in process explorer, and noticed that MumblePortable.exe shows in red thus its closing upon launch. It worked flawlessly in the last version.

You should start putting compiled releases on Github. Sourceforge has been doing a lot of sketchy stuff lately like bundling crapware and hijacking abandoned projects. Their download speed is also abysmal.

Update base app
Using this I don't have almost any icon in the interface. I tracked it down to the App/Mumble folder missing the QtPlugins folder - it seems all the files that should be in there are just in App/Mumble but Qt doesn't search them there... After getting that folder from an original Mumble install I could get all the icons.
Thanks for reporting. I could swear that they were there in the last couple releases. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will fix this asap.

Sorry for the late reply, I have been busy with RL stuff and not checking these forums. Yes, the New builds work. I had an issue with one of the dll files not installing, but after a full uninstall and reinstall, it finally worked.
