It is already portable, another Xchat fork but eats much less disk space than Pchat. Auto-updates itself. It's an IRC client.

What exactly are you asking for? you seem to beat around the bush but give no clear suggestions. More detail would be good.
Just that you can add it to the official PortableApps directory. Besides Pchat.
um ... I think by more details Minecraft_plague meant things like, what does Hexchat do? Do you have a link to their website?
Um. A link to their web site? I didn't think of it as something secretive only I am aware of, in the age of Google.
OK, seriously: Why is it better than Pchat? So far I found that it eats a 1/3 of disk space as I mentioned, and they have a cool service at #hexchat. Also their website is quite useful with tips. Probably the #freenode guys can tell you more why it's cool.
Yes, when requesting apps, we especially like it when you include a link to the app's official website, a description of what the app does, and (if you can find it) some idea of the licence.
