Hi:
I installed OBS studio a couple of days ago. When I click on the icon in the menu the initial grey, black andawhite startup screen appears and then quickly shuts down. I tried starting from the OBS studio application in the folder. I then uninstalled the program by deleting the folder in my portable apps folder and then reinstalled it. No joy and no results.
Any help in getting the program started would be appreciated.

I'm now in the process of setting up my OBS account and they ask which streaming server to use. I selected twitchy since it was first on the list and I'm in the middle of account recovery. While I wouldn't expect anyone to be familiar with the guts of this application, any configuration advice you happen to be aware of would be appreciated.

Hi All;
OBS Studio has a choice of streaming servers. I finally chose one that worked and then the program worked. Since I was looking to record rather than stream I probably didn't need a streaming server, but now that I have one that works I'll consider streaming something to my friends.

I accidentally left the necessary runtimes out of the 25.0.4 build as mwayne indicated above. The 25.0.8 release packaged by mwayne and released today fixes the issue. Apologies for the inconvenience.
