- Base app updated
2012.3.1 Development Test 1 (2013-04-24): Initial release
Please Note: NVDA Portable is still affected by the issues described here. As such it can't be considered 100% portable, but it is here for those who want it.
I am not so great at keeping it up to date, but if you drop me a message (here in this thread, or any of the ways to contact me via my website are also good) then I will update to the latest official, stable releases (no rc versions) as soon as I can.
I've updated to 2014.3.
I haven't thoroughly tested (have only tested that it works, and changes to settings are remembered) so if anything is wrong that I can fix, please let me know.
Unfortunately NVDA Portable is still affected by the unreleased DLL issue, so still can't be considered truly portable.
I think I've come up with a solution for the locked DLLs that will be good enough to get it released. I rebuilt the app with the current PA.c Template and wrote custom code to handle it. I've posted it here: https://portableapps.com/node/64196
Ken, I'd be happy to have you maintain this if you think this is release-worthy.

I'll be traveling for the next few days but will check it out when I am back home.
Have you had a chance to check it out yet? I'd like to get this out for folks to use. Thanks!

Sorry, has been a crazy couple of months. Thanks for releasing it, I will check it as soon as I can.
No worries, Ken. It's better than the existing package from the publisher. If we can refine it even further, that'd be cool, too.
