i need to clean firefox portable for space.
possibly and would like by hand.
what can delete and which of this strange named cache folders and sub-folders are right?
can someone pls name the correct paths for deletable stuff?
i will later give a tip on now free it ebooks, like linux sec and ai ebooks in off-topic, if not prohibited before, keep eyes open

depending on version of the FF, you can go to setting, security, and then look for delete cache

I feel like we've discussed this in one of your many posts about Firefox Portable. You currently have this post and
suspect many portable firefox trash on sys partition by glitch. need help/tip(post removed by author) which is basically the same issue. You've also posted about it previously. As well as:firefox portable linking problem or doesn't use right settings!?

I'll say the same thing as said before.
1. Only launch Firefox Portable via FirefoxPortable.exe directly within Explorer or within the PA.c Platform
2. If you want to associate links or files with Firefox Portable, you must manually associate it with FirefoxPortable.exe yourself. This may require using a third party utility
3. Stop messing around with other settings
As you've already messed it up previously based on your many posts about it having data elsewhere:
1. Start Firefox Portable correctly (launch FirefoxPortable.exe directly after ensuring no Firefox processes are running in Task Manager) and ensure it has all your stuff you expect
2. Close it down fully, ensure it's not running in Task Manager
3. Uninstall any local copies of Firefox
4. After backing up, delete the following: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox, %APPDATALOCAL%\Mozilla\Firefox. This will remove all extraneous cache and stuff that could be left behind
Now, be sure to ONLY launch it correctly in the future.

i'm not sure which of the cache folders can be cleaned, its quite few with diff names.
maybe we talked on that but not got on point.
i need to read again but not yet sure what of the trash can go.

now got it, deleting point 4 of your instruction will delete trash.
and the in roaming path are of portable firefox or also trash?

If you use Firefox's built in profile manager, you'll end up running in local mode. The way to do multiple profiles with Firefox Portable is to use the Second Profile launcher as outlined here: https://portableapps.com/support/firefox_portable#second_profile

i will need to research on that, as there is only data in this roaming path.
EDIT its propably older, newer or both paths used.
however, before delete i will better backup it.
EDIT2 good info, profile data can be checked in about:profiles. also 2nd profile can be started there.

If you paste in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox in the address bar in Windows Explorer, it will turn into C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox when you hit Enter. %APPDATA% is C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming. %LOCALAPPDATA% is C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local.
