I downloaded and unpacked the

I downloaded and unpacked the new package PeaZip_Portable_2.1_PRERELEASE2.paf.exe, but found the same issue:

$[31]\peazip\res\themes\crystalc\ folder (the default CrystalC theme) contains 113 files as expected, since PeaZip 2.1 themes have 113 icon files while PeaZip 2.0 themes had 100 icon files

$[31]\peazip\res\themes\tango\ folder (the Tango theme) contains 100 files while it should contain 113 files as you can find i.e. in http://downloads.sourceforge.net/peazip/peazip_portable-2.1.bin.WINDOWS.zip package

Another (minor) issue, in $[31]\Peazip\res\paq\ it misses the COPYING.TXT license file for PAQ binaries.

BTW, I'll be glad to ask to PortableApps users what (Open Source) icon theme would you like to see in PeaZip in future; Oxygen icons, in example are IHMO very nice.

I can't reproduce your issue

I can't reproduce your issue at all. I've just tried several in-place upgrades over th 2.0 version, as well as new installs of the 2.1 release, and both Tango and CrystalC have 113 files in them. I downloaded the zip file to create both PR1 and PR2.

Can we get a few other people to test for this issue?

No problem for me, let's wait for more people to test the package.
Even in the worst case no problem will show up until they change to Tango theme, and also in this case the issue would only be cosmetic and cannot harm program's functions in any way.
BTW thanks again for taking time to work on the package!

I just used 7zip to extract the files from the installer, rather than running the installer, and was able to reproduce the results. However, actually running the installer will update both icon sets correctly, and places the COPYING.TXT file for the paq binaries

This explains the issue.
In fact with 7-Zip and PeaZip I was not able to extract, list, find or test the "missing" items, but now I see that launching the installer it extracts correctly all items in right places, so I can confirm the package is ok.
I'll investigate further to understand why 7z binary cannot locate those objects.

nuoveXT-2.2_KDE

I'm a fan of nuoveXT-2.2_KDE and we're using big pieces of it in the upcoming Menu theme. It has a nice modern look and fits with both XP and Vista. Check out the Xenon File Manager default theme I put together for an idea of what I mean.

Icon Themes: Oxygen will be great, nuoveXT-2.2_KDE, you already have Everaldo's Crystal Clear so why not update to his modern crystal set or include both?

I don't think it's very wise

I don't think it's very wise to just 'extract' files from an installer and go posting a report based on that.

Just my 2 cents..

Pre-release 2 works with vista

I've just tried it on Vista Ultimate SP1, and it works without any problems and leaves nothing obvious behind.

PeaZip 2.1 for Windows 64 bit

Today I released PeaZip 2.1 for Windows 64 bit, installable (the script, which uses AMD64 architecture directive, was compiled on a Vista 64 machine) and portable.
The changes are in the readme file (which contains information on what components are native 64 bit binaries) and in res\7z folder which contains the 64 bit version.
As soon as other components will be available (and sufficiently tested) as native 64 bit application they will replace the older versions in the 64 bit packages.

BTW, I'v had accesss to various XP SP2 and SP3, and Vista SP1 machines and tested successfully Zach Hudock's PeaZip Portable pre-release 2

IMHO the main news on the

IMHO the main news on the release announcement for 2.1 may be:
- new file manager interface, which is now the application's default interface;
- drag and drop from application to system is now supported;
- two factor authentication (password+keyfiles) now supported for all archive formats.

My corporate firewall blocks me with message
Deny Category: "Spyware/Malware Sources"

But I can successfully download from other links on the Nascent Project site.

too weird for me!

Just thought I would mention it.

That is very strange.
I can download the package from the link on this page with no problem, and Virustotal reports no issue or suspect items on it:

That is quite odd. It doesn't make much sense that only 1 file from a site would be blocked like that.
