Open URLs in New Tab

I'm looking for an option or lightweight extension that will cause any url typed in the address bar to open in a new tab. I used to use Tabbrowser Preferences to accomplish this, but it does not support FFP3. Any ideas?

Alt-Enter

When you type in the URL, just hold down the ALT key when hitting enter and it will appear in a new tab.

Don't Think So

I don't think so. Maybe in about:config if you poke around Google. I'd suggest trying to stick with ALT-Enter for a few days. Then you'll be in the habit of doing it and get your desired behavior in every copy of Firefox you come across without needing to reconfigure it.

I use Tab Mix Plus for general tab configuration. This is one of the options. You'll need to hit up the forum to get a dev build that supports FF3 -
