Request List
KeePass 1.10
Miranda 0.7.3 (Ok, Pidgin does all what Miranda but I know some who prefer it over Pidgin due to the wider range of plugins available).
XChat 2.8.5e
GPG for Thunderbird Portable (Updated to use GnuPG 1.4.8 )
Pidgin 2.31 ?? (There are supposedly still a few bugs in this release, and so it may be better to wait for the next release)!!
The above are all OPEN SOURCE.
Portable Apps use of a launcher for Xamp made me think of this one. where the use of a launcher is used because it's better for xamp to be in the / directory. My thought however is for a Universal Launcher for applications that can just be placed in the PortableApps/ folder in there own folder such as /PortableApps/Blender3D/ but once you do you find two or more iconts to the application, and when you have several applications you don't want multiple icons for each one.
Hai,
Does anyone know how to get voipbuster running?

Friends,
I would like to grab your attention to "PC Repair System"- a set of nice, free and very useful programs. This set of programs is being offered at http://www.dailycupoftech.com/usb-drive-systems/3/. All the programs are already portable. But I think it will be more useful to make them available in the standard format of PortableApps.
Program: Grisbi
License: Open Source/GPL
Description: Personal Finance ( similar to MS Money or Moneydance )
Website: http://www.grisbi.org/
I have found that GNUCash is available, but this program is a lot smaller ( it will not compete with the functionality of GNUCash, but totally enough for keeping track of transatctions, bank accounts, etc... something like one-entry book-keeping)
I have just found that Nmap comes with a GUI called Zenmap.
I thought that this would make a great portable tool in my inventory so I tried to make it a portable app with the Portable app template 2.5.
The problem I have found is that zenmap.exe calls nmap.exe, which is ok because you can locate them in the same directory. But when you create the zenmap portable application launcher this calls zenmap.exe which is in the App directory, so zenmap can't find nmap.
Anybody have any ideas how to get round this? Or has anyone actually made a portable version of Zenmap?
Hi All
I'd like to have a portable Desktop Search program to index the 2000+ files on my flash drive. I read through the posts here (like https://portableapps.com/node/8502) but haven't found much that will work.
Does anyone know of a portable BASIC or Transcript. I'm starting programming, but my dad won't let me load a compiler onto the PC. I know of Portable Python, but I'm not ready to switch to a new language. I searched Google, Wikipedia, here, Yahoo, and practically everywhere.
P.S. I have a project due on the 31st.
